Ingredients

- 200g rice

- 200g brown sugar (gud, sakhhar, bheli)

- 2 tbsp ghee



Method

1. Heat the rice in a pan with some ghee and make a coarse flour (Khatte).

2. Grind the Khatte in a grinder to make it into fine powder without adding any water.

3. Melt the brown sugar.

4. Add the Rice Powder once the sugar is melted.

5. Take off the gas once the mixture is lukewarm and start making small tight balls from it (This process is known as Kasaar Batarne in Nepal).
