- 1 tablespoon of dry yeast
- 1Β½ cups of warm water
- 3Β½ cups (500 g) rice flour or all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon oil
- A pinch of salt
- Tomato pickle for the sauce
- Cheese, onion, tomato, capsicum for the toppings
1. In a bowl, combine the warm water and dry yeast. Allow it to sit for about half an hour until the yeast melts into the water and turns a yellowish color.
2. In a larger bowl, mix together the yeast mixture with flour and a pinch of salt to form dough. Set aside in a warm place for about one hour until it rises and increases in size.
3. Roll out the dough into desired shape and transfer to a heated tawa/pan. Cook for 3 minutes on medium heat until it is partially cooked.
4. Use toothpicks to make holes all over the dough and spread tomato pickle as sauce over it. Top with cheese, onion, tomato and capsicum as desired.
5. Preheat oven to 400F degrees before transferring the unbaked pizza into it for 15-20 minutes or until done.
