Ingredients

- 1 and half pounds boneless lamb or goat meat- 2 tablespoons plain yogurt- ½ cup finely chopped onions- ¼ cup finely chopped green onions- 1 lemon- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced- 2 tablespoons ginger, finely chopped and dipped in vinegar- 1 tablespoon red chilies powder- ½ teaspoon turmeric- ½ teaspoon timur- Salt to taste- Bamboo sticks (pre-soaked in cold water for 30 min.)- Melted butter for basting

Method

1. Cut the boneless meat into desired pieces.2. Mix all the ingredients together and let it marinate in freezer for about an hour.3. Pierce pieces of lamb onto bamboo or metal sticks, making sure there is at least ½ inch distance between two pieces of meat (you can also insert capsicum, onion into the stick).4. Lit the grill and place the meat sticks on it. Keep rolling them to ensure even cooking on all sides.5. Increase heat if needed until red liquid completely drains from the meat before taking off the fire.6. Cut lemon into small pieces and serve Sekuwa with finely chopped onion, ginger, coriander, and sprinkle lemon juice as desired, along with puffed rice as a side dish.
