- 1 cup Onions ( Pyaaj ) peeled- 6 -7 flakes Garlic- 2 table spoon Channa Dal (Bengal Gram)- Red chilies Per Taste- Salt Per Taste- Few Fenugreek and thyme seed- one tablespoon Mustard seeds- 2 Curry Leaves (optional)- One teaspoon Tamarind (Imili) or lemon juice
Method
1. Heat oil in a pan; fry chilies, dal, garlic and the onions till golden brown.2. Grind the fried mixture with tamarind and salt.3. Splutter mustard seeds, fenugreek seed, and thyme seed and curry leaves in oil and pour on top.4. Serve with Roti or Puri.
